Game of the Gods

On an ordinary summer day, the vast college campus of Zheng University was abuzz with the usual mix of academic discussions and youthful banter.  However, Wu Hui's mind was preoccupied with thoughts of a card game with friends.  Little did he know that his anticipation for a simple game would soon evolve into a dire fight for survival.
As class droned on, an unsettling, sharp noise shattered the monotony, immediately catching everyone's attention.  And then, a glowing message appeared, unveiling the rules of a sinister game—a game none had chosen to play but all were bound by.
With poker cards scattered around the campus, the students were pawns in this twisted game set up by the demon gods.  Those chosen as "heroes" could possess special abilities, but not without a cost.  Wu Hui, singled out with a message only he could see, learned of his chilling role: for every ten deaths within the school, he would uncover a poker card's location.
The atmosphere grew thick with tension, fear, and desperation as students scoured the campus, seeking the coveted cards, their ticket to freedom.  But with each card discovery came choices—use it for personal gain or as a bargaining chip in this deadly game?
As more students got involved, alliances were forged, betrayals surfaced, and secrets unraveled.  The line between friends and foes blurred, and trust became a luxury few could afford.  Wu Hui, despite his earlier indifference to campus life, found himself entangled in the game's web, striving to balance his newfound power and the responsibility it entailed.
Confronted by both the allure of rewards and the grim realities of the game, Wu Hui, with the weight of countless lives on his shoulders, had to strategize every move.  Every decision he made would determine the fate of his peers and, ultimately, his own.
