Tian Yu had just transmigrated into a different world. A world different from Earth. One where people are asked to complete missions in the Selection Space or Quest World. This Selection Space was where people would be summoned to usually fictional worlds from books, animation, games, and movies to go on missions. Simultaneously, while this is going on, Tian Yu activates a System called The Strongest Choice System. As it turned out, the system was connected with the Selection Space so that every time Tian Yu completed a mission, he would be rewarded with points and other goodies. 
The first mission Tian Yu decides to embark on is the summoning of Chinatown Detective, where our protagonist is supposed to clear Tang Ren’s name. Tang Ren is accused of murder, and Tian Yu must do everything he can to prove Tang Ren’s innocence. Tian Yu uses his sleuthing skills to unlock the mysteries of the murder case and soon exonerates Tang Ren from the crime. After successfully solving the mystery, Tian Yu receives an SSS Rating from the Selection Space. This is unheard of before, and many people come clamoring to Tian Yu’s side, wanting a piece of the action. They want to know the exact strategy of how he had solved the case so that they could imitate his moves.
Meanwhile, Tian Yu has been receiving letters from a mysterious person. They were letters from his parents, who had vanished a while back, and even personal notes from this shadowy figure. What could this mysterious figure possibly want? And what did his missing parents have to do with this? Tian Yu must use his deduction skills to get to the bottom of things. Will it be too late for him and the people he loves? Or will his detective skills come through this time as well?
